Q:Are you a local company?
A: Yes! We live and work in Kansas City, and we’ve been managing properties and providing real estate services here
for years. We joined the HomeRiver Group brand to increase our level of service and streamline our systems with some

agents and property managers will be right here in town.
Q:Do I need a property manager, or can I manage my investment on my own?
A: If you have the time and the expertise to manage your own property, you should do that. We’re only a phone call away if you have questions or run into problems. However, if you have a full time job, family responsibilities, or personal passions that take up most of your time and energy, you can benefit from professional management. We know the laws, understand the leasing process, and have relationships with vendors that keep your maintenance costs low.
Q:What kinds of properties do you manage?
A: We manage residential rental homes, apartment buildings, and HOAs. Our team can help you whether you have a single family home on the rental market, a multifamily building, or a community association.
Q:What if my tenant doesn’t pay rent?
A: Our thorough screening process ensures we only place tenants with a history of on-time rental payments. However, if rent is late or unpaid, we have a process in place to collect the overdue payment as well as late fees. If a tenant suffers from a major life event that makes rent payments impossible, we will begin the eviction process.
Q:I want to sell my property in a few years. How can I be sure it will be in good shape?
A: Regular inspections and excellent tenant relationships ensure that your property is taken care of throughout the life of a tenancy. We have expert maintenance professionals who handle repairs immediately and conduct both servicing and inspections to ensure deferred maintenance doesn’t become a problem. When it’s time to sell, you’ll have a home that commands top dollar.
